Throughout life we go through a series of ups and downs. We go through times where life seems to just be pounding us right into the ground and no matter how many times we try to get up we just can't. But, there are times where we can look back and see that every single cell in our body was overwhelmed with happiness. Life throws us somethings that are so unexpected, farfetched, and sometimes scary. I've learned that times like these are absolutely necessary in developing who we are as a person. Even when we are 80 years old, hard times are shaping who we are. Because even after we finish those awkward middle school years we aren't done growing. I hope that no matter how old I have the chance to live to be that I never stop growing. I hope I never lose that passion for life. Even though I am a firm believer in gritting my teeth through hard times I believe there is importance in celebration. Celebration of all things no matter how large or how small. Lately so many things have been slipping through my fingertips I wanted to share my celebrations. And after you read mine I hope you are inspired to think back on all the things in your life no matter how small or how big and call them your little celebrations.
Today's Little Celebrations
1. Today being told, "This is the best day of my life." By a 5 year old boy at work.
2. The giant hug I shared with both of my cousins today.
3. Having someone in my life who never fails to make me feel beautiful. Never fails.
4. The workout I had today that made me feel strong and capable.
5. Being able to write this post is a blessing itself.
6. Driving around with the windows down.
7. Being able to have a job where 15 kids sneeze on me, hug me, squeeze me, and hold my hand.
8. Sharing dinner outside on the patio with my parents laughing and talking.
9. Having a warm house with warm hearts.
10. Having people in my life who don't just get it, they get the even more impossible, they get me.
Happy Celebrating!
