My name is Shelby Komar, I am a a student at Michigan State University. I am passionate about all people. I work as a Youth Activity Mentor and have two younger sisters. A perfect night to me would be curled up in a blanket next to a fire with a good book and good company. To me writing is not just a way to express yourself to other people, but to express yourself to yourself. I love words, I love sentences, I love words combined to make sentences, and sentences combined to make stories. Because those, those stories have the power to move mountains. We are all writers, we are all the writers of our own stories, and characters in others' stories. Developing as a person, is a developing story. All of my work combined is my story, what is yours?
I believe that a smile has the power to change someone's day. I believe that the best legacy to leave behind is to be good to all people. I believe that a good book can be some of the best company. I believe in surrounding yourself with passionate people, no matter what their passion. To me, some of the most beautiful faces are lit up with what they love.
