No Such Thing as "Just Living"

People are unique. People see things different than other people. People interpret things differently than other people. So what do you think about when you hear the word, "Passion?" Do you think of your passions? Maybe you think about what it means to be passionate. You might even think about how you have been passionate. Regardless we all think something differently. But whatever we think is the right answer. 

The other day in class one of my professors stated that he, "Hates the word passion." Because... "Passion isn't real." I almost got up and walked out. Passion is something that is very real. I don't care if the word is overused. Because MY passion isn't overused. In fact, lately I believe it is underused, but then again I feel like everyone's passions are underused. We are all unique and all have unique passions. One of mine, writing. Writing excites every inch of my soul. It's something that I put my whole heart into. Something that has always been there for me, and always will be there. Never give up on your passions. Life is ever-changing but when people, memories, experiences fade, our passions will always be there. Because our passions are what make us feel alive amidst this crazy chaos we call life. Without my passions, I don't feel alive, I feel like I'm just living.  And, there is no such thing as, "Just living." Theres no excuse. Follow your passions, even if they make you break away from the social norm. Create your own social norm. Whoever you are will always rise to the top if you do what you love.
